Good game, good car and motorcycle list. Customization should be a little more free and it'd be nice if you could move the vinyls. very good game just lower down the brightness would rockstar?

also a very good need for speed game, although the free roam does repetitive and boring. this game is not like carbon, sure it might not have the autoscuplt like carbon, but the customization is good enough to make the cops forget about your car. the modes are well done, and the cops are fun to destroy. good carlist and cops are so fun because they are very aggressive

absolutely beautiful....closed track, lots of racing and customization....the game is still awesome even today. the carlist was also good during that time too. NFSU certainly did start the street racing genre and it raised the bar for most games. (excludes Gran Turismo and Forza)

Absolutely sucked!ok you're going to Palmont city but how the firetruck did Cross get over the bridge?! and the car list was completely useless since all the cars aren't playable, the game was so short finished it in 2 days. The Canyons and graphics were some of it's good point. But the cops were very unnecessary in game and they also sounded the same like Rockport police. how the firetruck did the Rockport police follow over the bridge didn't they die attemping? the customization wasn't that much worth the hype...you barely got good looking in or that in case a lot of body body parts to autoscuplt. oh yeah it is also very buggy, laggy, and glithy due to Ea rushing the game. Plus the Free Roaming eventually gets repetitive and boring.5/10

Very fun! game the damage is so nice and so are the cars! All the places are so nice for taking down people especially Silver lake...got 112 takedowns on that course with Sport Compact type 2! overall gameplay very very addicting and fun! crash mode is also very fun especially if your boosting up to speed and smashing into a gas tank =D
